The client is a food and beverage processing machinery manufacturer. Like many in the sector, part of their installed base is imported equipment — machines built to specifications that do not always line up with what is commonly stocked locally.
The Challenge
The client had an imported machine fitted with an induction motor carrying non-standard ratings — not matching typical locally available specifications. Without a clear equivalent readily available, sourcing a suitable replacement risked delays and mismatched performance if handled incorrectly.
